System Error on Windows Server 2003

Hello,

An error appeared on a mission critical server. I've searched Google and couldn't find any good information so I'm hoping the Experts can help. System is Windows Server Standard 2003 SP1. Here are the errors from the Windows System Event log:

1. PlugPlayManager
Event ID 11
-The Device Root\Legacy_EraserUtildrv10710\0000 disappeared from the system without first being prepared for removal.

One second later this informational event appeared

2. Service Control Manager
Event ID 7035
-The Symantec Eraser Control Driver Service was successfully sent a start control.

Logically it would seem that the Symantec Eraser Control Driver is a valid service running in SAV 10.X Corporate Edition, although I couldn't find anything specific denoting that.  The service choked for some reason and then started successfully one second later.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Not sure what's causing this, but at least you have a partner to compare notes with:
