Multiple question about the HP 5510 All-in-one series printer/scanner/fax

1.  What is the maximum dpi resolution of a HP 5510 All-in-one series scanner?

2, When I put a picture in there it says 200dpi 24bit.  Can it be more?  If so, how do I set the dpi to a higher scan level?

3,  Allso, I installed the latest HP 5510 software/driver today, and yet, when I click on the HPDirector icon, nothing happens except it goes to the lower right bar of the screen.

4. Finally, I have a unhooked/uninstalled Epson 1640su acanner (and Omnipro 15) I guess I could hook up so would it be better to use this?

As this is a multiple part question, lets shoot for 500 points

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Al of your info should be on the install disk or via the help.

Specs may also be seen on the HP site.

I hope this helps !
