How do I change the name that appears as the name of the sender of an email?

I run Exchange V 6.5 under SBS 2003 SP1.
Currently when I send a mail from my account CRMADMIN, that name is also used as the name of the sender of the email. Althouhg in the user properties of my account (in Active directory users) I chose a different description ("Firstname Lastname Company"). Should I change the alias on the tab Exchange General? Any chance that that will mess up my Outlook settings / synchonization issues etc) ?

In short: How do I change the name that appears as the name of the sender of an email?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Are you specifically asking about changing the name for messages that are sent from CRM?  Because that would be different than just changing the way they are sent from Exchange.

I just answered this question though, for CRM here:  http:Q_22447330.html

After some time (maybe also after reboot of the server, I'm not sure anymore) changes where applied. Now the correct description appears in the email sender adress.

Thanks anyway!

By the way this was an Exchange question, not CRM in this case.
