Greetings,
Always receive great help here!  I have a client using an ISP that only supports PPPoA. The client also has a TZ170 Sonicwall firewall connected to it. I would like the modem to be in transparent bridging mode but the ISP doesn't support it. So, the modem is an ActionTec GT701-WG and this is my question:

How do I get modem to mimic transparent mode so the TZ170 can perform the firewall functions?

thanks. --Rob.

You should be able to put th Actiontec in bridge mode;

However, does the Sonicwall support PPPoA ? Many routers do not.
