I have an hp pavillion zd7000, works fine with an extenal monitor attached, but the lcd video has a green line across the lower half of the screen and the image itself (desktop or otherwise) is split into 4 smaller screens. (the mouse appears to move across all the screens). Does the fact that it works great with a monitor mean that the lcd screen is bad or that the video adapter (which is on the main board) is at fault?

Bad Video on LCD but OK on external monitor
