How to report on sent messges

Some one in my company accidentally bounced zillions of emails  off our exchange server to the outside world, just using a small vb script and I need to report on who they were sent to.

They used a valid exchange user account authentication, and from the outlook client under that accounts name I see hundreds of return messages in the inbox, but the script left nothing in the sent items.

So, going into exchange system manager, I find all messages sent from that user between a certain time frame but  how can I export this into a text file or some other report?

Anything you get from Exchange is going to be a bit flaky in terms of formatting. Microsoft deliberately leave that aspect of Exchange to the partners. http://www.advsoft.info/en/download/ has a 30day eval that you can use for this as a one-off.

If you're going to have to do this a lot then you might want to investigate the larger and more feature-rich applications, but for now the above will get what you have said you need.

OK thanks!  I also here GFI has some products

Also , the wmi control "Exchange_MessageTrackingEntry" may have some interesting application towards this, but I wasn't able to get consistent data dump that matched message tracker.
