I have written a program in vb.net. I have started getting the following error -

An unhandled exception of type 'System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException' occurred in connectSMS.exe

Additional information: COM object with CLSID {3B598BD0-AF50-48C6-B6A5-63261A48B054} is either not valid or not registered.

The error happens at the following line of code -

Dim ftp1 As New CHILKATFTPLib.ChilkatFTP

The program worked fine with the ftp code for a while and only started giving the error yesterday.
Any ideas would be greatful.

sorry for the delay in replying. I havent had a chance to try it  will do it tomorrow. Can i get the dll to register automatically when the program is installed on any PC.

I thought the installer would deal with this.
