Hi
I have two windows 2003 Servers, now I am formatting one server, but I don't know which keys I used earlier for this server.

I have two keys as well. So other working server, how can I find out what is the key I used to install.
Also advise if I Put a same key, which is already using in other server, how can I change the license key.

Please advise if some one can quickly help me on this issue.
Awaiting your reply
Thanks
Jinesh Kumar

Hello jineshk,
Lost your Unlock Code?

Magical Jellybean http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder.shtml

The Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder is a freeware utility that retrieves your Product Key (cd key) used to install windows from your registry. It has the options to copy the key to clipboard, save it to a text file, or print it for safekeeping. It works on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Office 97, and Office XP.

NOTE to get the Office 2003 unlock key you need the newer version

NB you can back up the wpa.dbl file (This is a copy of the unlock code for your OS) file to a floppy disk (It lives in C:\windows\system32) when you?ve rebuilt your PC copy it back and you wont have to re-register.
