I have flash player 9 installed on my computer, however some programs/websites do not appear to take note and give a message, please install maromedia flash...blah blah.

I can go onto many games websites which use flash.  But if I try to load the live scoreboard at
http://home.skysports.com/scores/

It comes up blank, appart from the advert at the bottom.  I also have a packard bell video package for my cam corder which won't load for the same reason.

This is a really tedious problem, I'm sure it's something really simple.  Any clues?

Also is Macromedia, adobe and shockwave flash all the same thing?

Uninstall the old Flash player

Install the latest Flash plugin for your operating system

Your not called a Genius for nothing...

I did try to uninstall, but via the control panel.

Sky sports live scores now works, the packard bell video software still won't load, perhaps I need to reinstall it again, now flash is working.  Although I can use the video software another way, it is still a little anoying.

I'll give you the points, since I can't live without the livescores :)
