Draw walls and a pyramid roof

hi guys i want to design a room with walls and a ceiling with a pyramid roof  on it.. i am new to openGL. can some one help me on this...

If you're completely new to OpenGL then I would suggest reading up on some tutorials on it. The best place to start is: http://nehe.gamedev.net/ Once you get the hang of it, you can practically create anything else using simple primitives. Common rule is that almost anything can be made with triangles alone.

For creating the room with walls and a ceiling, the best thing to do would be to create 4 quads for the walls, 2 quads for the floor and ceiling and then use 4 triangles that are leaning a bit to create the roof. It's that simple but you'll have to do some math to accomplish it.

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply. I was actually going through the nehe tutorials right now in Tutorial 8. I just want to check if there a software that can help me to detemine what is the vertices , angle and those stuff?

I'm not that experienced in opengl and I haven't gotten that deep into it yet so I'm not sure if there are any for that kind of stuff.
