V8 Supercars 3 aka TOCA Race Driver 3 - trying to play network game

Hi - I'm Australian and over here it's called V8 Supercars 3.

I've created a network game and want another computer to join to it (via TCP LAN)
The only thing is apart from asking for the IP Address the game asks for the other person to enter a network port. When I create the game it doesn't ask me to set a port, and I've also run netstat to view all active ports but there's nothing related to rd3.exe

I've tried 0, 80, 3658, 26900, 27900 with no success.

Any help most appreciated. I'll start the points low and raise them up if I get a working solution. NB - I have no probs joining online games.

TOCA should use 10975 (TCP/UDP - undocumented) and 3658, 26900, 27900  (UDP)
If you are playing this LAN through a router it is more likely to be a firewall issue than a networking one, are you playing LAN, WAN or via GameSpy?

i figured it out

the other person was going to the 'enter ip address' screen too quickly, and should've waited for me to create the game so that it would be listed an he wouldn't have to enter my detailsd in the first place.

i'll give you some points anyway  :)
