Is necessary add any card controller in order to configure RAID-5  in one board D975XBX2 INTEL ?

Check in manual see if the motherboard has RAID5 built-in onboard raid controller first, if not, you might consider to add on card if you need raid 5.

I think, than this board allows to handle two RAID Controller , One (ICH7-R/ICH7-DH-RAID)
Included and other (Marvell SATA RAID) Optional; each one for four disks. But I don´t be sure.
And If it´s true, How I could configure Raid-5 in the raid controller included in this board.
