Internet Download Manager always download filters.bin from IE7
Hi,
I've Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) installed and so does Internet Download Manager (IDM) program. Everytime I started to open IE7, IDM always catched a Duplicate download link: http://toolbar.live.com/static/sm/03.01.0000.0072/addressParameters/filters.bin.
What is the http://toolbar.live.com/static/sm/03.01.0000.0072/addressParameters/filters.bin and how to prevent it being catched by IDM?

OIC, but I found on IDM that we can disable the auto catched http://toolbar.live.com/static/sm/03.01.0000.0072/addressParameters/filters.bin by adding the "toolbar.live.com" on IDM's Don't start downloading automatically list.
Is it gonna be a problem with the Live Toolbar requires an update to work with IE7? I guess not because IDM will not working anymore with the link and IE7 will install the update of Live Toolbar, right?

I am not sure if IE7 will work Live Toolbar. Download version 3.1 and check if it will work with IE7. The documentations that I have seen said it works with IE6.

I checked the version and it's 03.01.000.0068 (Windows Live Toolbar 03.01.000.0068). I installed it last night from Windows Live Messenger if I'm not mistaken.
But I think it work with IE7. Hm, how to check it if it work with IE7 or not?

Because Windows Live Toolbar offers tab browsing to IE6, I have doubts it would work with IE7, which also has tab browsing. If there are not visible conflicts between IE7 and Live toolbar, continue to use it.
It could be that you did not download the Toolbar properly, so your download manager is asking to download it again.

This the 2nd time I noticed my download manager catched the filters.bin. The 1st time it was few months ago but I decided to not using Live Toolbar by uncheck it from the View menu (View + Toolbar).
Mostly, if something error with my Windows, I just restore a backup.
Just trying to use its Search web... on Live Toolbar feature and it working fine.

Yes. I downloaded Live toolbar few days ago directly from Microsoft website. I mean, I don't save the installer but when download window come, I click Run.
I've three toolbar loaded in IE7: Google, RoboForm and Windows Live.
My problem with the Filters.bin seems to be gone now as posted to my 2nd post above.
But when I go to Nokia Nseries website (http://www.nseries.com), I can't prevent IDM for automatically downloading a set of MP3 files (I think for mouse sound). I've tried several format of the link name in the IDM's Don't start downloading automatically list. But still no luck :(

rulirahmadi, glad the problem is resolved.
Ok to refund.
Do you have Windows Live Toolbar installed? Live Toolbar requires an update to work with IE7. Download manager is asking you to install the update.
