Lotusscript - Datelist problem

Hi all,

I am calculating a datelist based on a startdate, enddate and a life cycle.
The list is calculated but I get the following date appended at the end of the list 30/12/1899
For example, the list will be:
10/01/2007, 10/02/2007, 10/03/2007, 10/04/2007, 30/12/1899

And the date obviously appears as the first date in the view when I have the view sorted descending by date.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Strange,
As long as the life cycle of the difference between startdate & enddate is less than 5 years the 30/12/1899 does not appear on the datelist.
1or 2 or 3 or 4 years life cycle(which is the difference between startdate & enddate)  is OK, but when I include 5(for 5 years) in that field 30/12/1899 is appended at the end of the list.

while testing, I have noticed that when the multi-value date field(datelist) has over 120 entries then 30/12/1899 is appended at the end.
Now, does anyone have an idea why? is there a restriction on a date field size?

This may be a bug or a feature.

What version of Notes client and server are being used ?

Are you sure that these are not conversion errors from blank input or similar ?

I hope this helps !

Hi SysExpert,

Domino 7 & notes 6.5

I have modified the script which calculates the date list a bit and it seems to have resolved the problem

Many thanks
