I have done a lot with adding, erasing or just messing around with manual signatures, so maybe i can help. &nbsp;But I don't understand the problem. &nbsp;I will suggest this - If cropping almost does what you want - try a text box of the signature (in Acrobat). &nbsp;You need to add at least one character to the box, or it goes away (a space works). &nbsp;Set the box attributes to 0% opacity, with a white background. &nbsp;It's a great &quot;eraser&quot; in acrobat. &nbsp;If that's not it, maybe you can explain the problem for me.<br />

I have tried a text box, the problem is that as the document will be sent to a large number of people, there is a requirement to actually remove the signature rather than just hide it. Any advice would be great

I am trying to scan documents &nbsp;to enablle them to be sent electronically. However before I can e-mail them I need to be able to remove the signature on the document. I can use the crop function but it means losing part of the document. When I run OCR within adobe it picks up the text but does not recognise the signature even as an image file. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

A font is a particular size, weight and style of a typeface.
