I would like to know how to open a new browser window using just VB.NET/ASP.NET 2005.

What I have is a webpage with a listbox with filenames in it and a button. I want my users to be able to select a filename from the listbox, then click the button to display that file (an image) in a new browser.
The functionality I want to mimic would be that of a hyperlink.

If its possible to have the listbox list hyperlinks, that'd work too.

Any adice would be greatly appreciated.

You need window.open:

Dim popupScript As String = "<script language='javascript'>" & _
  "window.open('PopUp.aspx', 'CustomPopUp', " & _
  "'width=200, height=200, menubar=yes, resizable=no')" & _
  "</script>"

Page.RegisterStartupScript("PopupScript", popupScript)
