Phone Number associated with Distribution Group in Exchange 2003
Hello Experts!
We are trying to add a telephone number to a distribution group in Exchange 2003. The purpose for this is to have users easily see a phone number that relates to a group of users. For example, our Computer Help Desk is a distribution group and we want the HelpDesk phone number also associated with it so users can find it quickly.
So far, we are stumped as to how to do this.
Suggestions?

You could create a contact and then a new email that forwards to the existing tech email.
Or you could add the phone number to each group members profile, then they would see the phone number the members list.
Otherwise... as czcdct said: "notes field"

Thanks for the feedback guys.
We gave ourselves a slap on the head and solved this ourselves. We just made the display name to include the phone number.
