Company ratings from employees

I am looking for some good resources about companies/employers.  Most everything that I find comes from the company marketing/propaganda department.

I've been to vault.com which looks promising, but the site has horrible performance.
I've also been to jobvent.com as well, which has exactly what I'm looking for, but it seems to be quite limited (a couple of fortune 100 companies I looked at only had 2 or 3 reviews).

I was laid off back in 2003, and part of the 'here's a bone, don't sue us' deal was they purchased the services of an outplacement agency named Lee Hecht Harrison (http://www.lhh.com).  As part of the deal, they had their own resume database where you can search for a company name, and get the resume names of everyone that worked there.  Then you can call them blind, and usually these people are a non-pc fountain of information about that employer.
