I am not familiar with MS Expression web, but to access an FTP site though Explorer you can use the syntax>>>>  This passes along the username and password and opens the site.

Well, I had hopes, but it didn't work- I still got prompted for  username and password. It worked in IE, so I know the login was OK.

Microsoft says it can't be done, but I don't know how to close this question.
