How do you determine what the maximum size hard drive you can put in your laptop?
I have a Dell Lattitude D410 currenty with an 80GB Ultra ATA 5400 RPM 2.5 inch hard drive
I have check the specs and rang dell but they have not been very helpful
I would like to put a 200-300GB hard drive in what are the chances and what brand should I be looking at and what are the specks?

200-300Gb isnt going to be possible at the moment 160gb is currently the largest drive made for 2.5" ata-6. Currently the largest laptop drive available is 200gb but its a sata drive so it won't work in the d410.
I would go with a seagate drive
