I am designing a website - client wants to include a contact email address in normal form and reduce Spam.

I have in the past used a Java Scrpit icon for this - can't remember where I got it from. And client would like to reduce or not use at all Java Script.
So my questions is:-
i. How can I do it not using Java Script - by the way I don;t belive a robot.txt file stops the spammers and
ii. If I use Javascrpit - does anoyne have a good source for the revlant code etc.

I've actually had good success with keeping spammers out with robot.txt.

In addition to maintaining websites, I also manage the mail servier.  My own email address is on a page accessible to robots and it gets lots of spam.  I deny access to pages with my clients email addresses and they get virtually no spam.
