Mailbox does not exist NDR (But it does)

I deleted my mailbox and recreated it about 2 months ago and people are constantly having trouble emailing me.

They get NDR's saying that my email address does not exist until they download a new address book.  I would think that this should be resolved by now.  What can I do to make this stop happening.

The most common reason for this is where people are using cached information - so when they start typing your name, the auto complete comes up and they select that account. What they need to do is select the account from the GAL fresh and delete the old entry.

How do they delete the old entry?  Is there no way to fix this for everyone at once?

There is no bulk fix, other than deleting the nick names file. However that is the quickest to annoy your entire user community.

What you should have done is NOT delete the mailbox. Recreate it and then hide the old account and configure forwarding.

To delete the entry simply select it and press the delete key.
