Can someone please point me in the direction of any KB, white papers, or articles that can outline how to add a new company to a root domain structure.  eg.  abc.com is the root domain with no childs and I want to add a new company efg.com.  Thanks.

Does efg.com already have its own AD infrastructure set up, and you wish to migrate it into abc.com?  If so, look at the Active Directory Migration Tool and its associated white paper - this is a free download from Microsoft that will handle many migrations without needing to purchase a third-party tool.

Thank you LauraEhunerMVP, I'm not sure this is what I'll want to do our wind up doing, but I appreciate you taking the time to reply.  You were the only one.
