ActiveSync 4.2 (4.5 has issues with this PDA)
Samsung Smartphone i730
Exchange 2003, SP2 on the back end (SBS 2003 with a home grown .crt file)

I am trying to set up Exchange Sync and I keep getting a Internet_55 error.  I found a website that stated I had to copy a certificate to the PDA from the server, but it didn't tell me how or anything..  How do I fix this and get the PDA to sync with Exchange Server?   I can make an SSL connection to OWA successfully...

You need to copy the certificate in the correct format and then import it in to the device.
The method I usually use for that is a cabinet file - which I have outlined on my web site at http://www.amset.info/pocketpc/certificates.asp

My preference though would be to purchase a certificate rather than trying to use a home grown certificate.
