Hi Guru's,

I have a new Dell E1705 Laptop with Vist Home Premium.  Right out of the box IE 7 displays a script error when trying to print anything from the internet.  The message box always says it is on line 1838, Char 1, Error: Unspecified error, Code 0, URL: res:// ieframe.dll/preview.dlg.

All other programs and applications print perfectly fine.  Any thoughts?

Sounds like you got a corrupted file preview.dlg. Backp up this copy of preview.dlg either by renaming it or saving to another folder, then replace with a new preview.dlg from the internet or another vista machine. Hope that helps.

Dr Shivan,

I am unable to locate the preview.dlg file....any clues as to its location.  A search which included system files yeilds no trace of this file.
