I have changed the fan speed of my 2801 router by using a registor. Now I get the following message every few seconds
R2801#
*Apr 27 08:20:20.215: %ENVMON-3-FAN_FAILED: Fan 1 is malfunctioning
*Apr 27 08:20:20.215: %ENVMON-3-FAN_FAILED: Fan 2 is malfunctioning
R2801#
I don't want to see this message ... how do I disable this from appearing in the console every few seconds?
Many Thanks

However, this will disable all messages from appearing.
Why did you slow the fan down?

I would just disable logging to the console and check the buffer for any messages periodically.
no logging console filtered errors ????? so that it doesn't display any

A router is a networking device that forwards data packets between computer networks. Routers perform the "traffic directing" functions on the Internet. The most familiar type of routers are home and small office cable or DSL routers that simply pass data, such as web pages, email, IM, and videos between computers and the Internet. More sophisticated routers, such as enterprise routers, connect large business or ISP networks up to the powerful core routers that forward data at high speed along the optical fiber lines of the Internet backbone. Though routers are typically dedicated hardware devices, use of software-based routers has grown increasingly common.
