There may be an issue with the number of encryption bits.<br />

Each new version usually allows more bits ( 64, 128, 256 ) <br />
<br />
You may need to upgrade R5 to R6.5 since R5 is no longer supported and r 6.0x is also about to be obsolete.<br />

I'ved corss certified both R5 &amp;&nbsp;R7 server.id, but i cannot send mails to each other?<br />
I've already configured Connection documents and directory assistance db, and cross certfied each server.id,<br />

Lotus Domino R5 and R7 Cross Certification Problem

Lotus Software produced the Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet program, and later developed Lotus Notes, a groupware and email system. Following its acquisition by IBM, the Notes and Domino client/server collaborative platform were expanded to include functions such as email, calendars, to-do lists, contacts management, teamrooms, discussion forums, file sharing, microblogging, instant messaging, blogs, and user directories.
