Project management is the discipline of carefully projecting or planning, organizing, motivating and controlling resources to achieve specific goals and meet specific success criteria. A project is a temporary endeavor designed to produce a unique product, service or result with a defined beginning and end (usually time-constrained, and often constrained by funding or deliverables) undertaken to meet unique goals and objectives, typically to bring about beneficial change or added value.

Project Management

Development in most programming languages is done with an editor or integrated development environment (IDE). Dev Tools covers issues with the use of that software, rather than the actual programming being written. XCode, Visual Studio and Eclipse are some of the more popular development tools.

DB Dev Tools

Most development for the Microsoft platform is done utilizing the technologies supported by the.NET framework. Other development is done using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) for programs like Access, Excel, Word and Outlook, with PowerShell for scripting, or with SQL for large databases.
