Unable to sync calender from Blackberry to Exchange Server

I am unable to sync my calendar from a blackberry handheld to the exchange server.

Currently running Exchange 2003 SP2 and BES 4.1.3.

CDO.dll files are version 6.5.7651.61 on both servers.

Everything else is running great ie. email and contacts are being synced properly.

Note: I prematurely closed the same question yesterday thinking the problem had been resolved after I reinstalled the server.

THANKS!

I have read your previous question. Did you make sure that the BES server settings is correct and configured to sync calendar in both directions?
Are you the only one having the problem or are there other users with the same problem?

Kirschi:

All users (3) are having the problem.

I have the calendar set as Bi-directional. I have also tried setting it to one way (server->BB and BB->server).

Did you work with the Blackberry Desktop Manager, too? If yes, please use it again and see what is configured here regarding calendar sync.

I can sync with the Desktop manager using the Outlook calender but when I set it to Blackberry Wireless, no sync.

Currently it is set to Blackberry Wireless.
ckelso - dont know if you are still monitoring this - I have been having a similar issue - but with contacts and not calender.

After some hoofing around the Blackberry forums I was told to do a Handheld wipe - delete the user from the BES, add him back and then redo the enterprise activation.

However - this did not work.

tired it again, with a newly created blank IT policy - this did not work.

Had an old Blackberry hanging around - wiped it, stuck the guys sim in it, deleted the user from the BES - put it back in - and then enterprise activated on the different device (with a new fresh blank Policy).

This worked - called my supplier - Digicel Bermuda - they told me to bring the other device in to get it wiped and reinstalled - hard work to get anything from them - but it would seem that they have to do this occasionaly - This is my second BES - the last one died (in embarrasing circumstances) - so I shifted eveyone to a new one - and some devices require a complete wipe and reinstall to work properly.

Am dropping the device to them on the way home in a couple of hours - picking up Monday - will let you know the outcome.

Hope this helps somewhat.
Sorry - should say - when the wipe and re-enterprise activation did not work I got an error on the device saying the IT Policy had been rejected and the activation could not continue.

Also - I tried it again, not tired it again.

The Device I was having the problem with was a Blackberry 7130. The old device that worked was one of the old black brick affairs (7250?) I have given it to the user now to use over the weekend.

The BES is v4.1.3.18

Cheers
