Stop Desktop Icons from Being Rearranged After an RDP Session

Vista Ultimate on a Dell OptiPlex 620 w/ 3GB RAM. This is my office machine and when I RDP into this machine from home, which I do often, I'll come in the next day and all of my desktop icons and shortcuts are totally rearranged. I have a dual monitor set up on the 620 and like to group my icons according to function and, in turn, situate these groups in certain areas on the two monitors. After an RDP session, all the icons get moved to the left side. How do I stop this?
