How to create VPN for Small Business

I need some advice on how to connect two remote locations. Here's the scenario, a single office with 2 XP Pro machines, workgrouped together. One of the pc's is running a tax software app that both PC's use.  They currently have DSL with a linksys router issuing IP's.
Their opening a new remote office with one pc and want it to use the tax software located at the other office. I was thinking the best and cheapest solution for them was to place a PIX in each office and create a VPN tunnel and have the one of the pix to issue IP's for all three pc's. Remove the Linksys completely. Setup a workgroup and shares, etc.
Am I on the right track?

Glad to hear I was at least in the ball park. I like the Pix, never used the ASA's or the Linksys(for VPN that is).
I'll do some research on what model suits them and go from there. Thanks for the advice!!
