Hi all,
just created an image of the Hard Drive from a Compaq PC (Deskpro En) usining True Image 7.The OS is XP Home. I saved the image on an external hard drive. I than booted anotherPC (Dell Optiplex
gx150) with the True Image Boot CD..The Hard drive in this PC was previously formatted to NTFS. So I boot from the True Image CD, go  through the steps, and restore the Image to the new PC. After the restart, Windows would not boot Normally or in Safe mode. The OS in the Hard Drive OK (viewed it using PATA  hard drive to USB adapter on another PC), I figured their would be a problem because of the change in the hardware enviroment.
Any ideas on how to be able to boot the "imaged" hard drive, without re-installing the OS.

Thanks,
            bill
