Exchange and SBS 2003

I'm running Windows SBS server 2003 and Exchange SP2 on it. Recently, the system encountered a trojan horse (Backdoo.servu) and after running spyware doctor on it and getting rid of it, I'm getting

worksatation driver is not installed

Exchange System Manager

When I click on Exchange System Manager.  I also can't get into Active Directory and this is the message I'm receiving.

Naming information cannot be located because:
The Workstation driver is not installed
Contact you system administrator to verify that your domain is properly configured and is currently online.

So it appears that after removing the Trojan  and rebooting it, it has wipe out some of the services.

When I try and start the workstation service this is what I get:

Cannot start Workstation service on Local Computer.
Error 1068: The dependency or group failed to start

Is there a way of retifying this without having to do a re-install of the OS will a repair do the job? If not, is there a system restore point that I can roll the system back before the Trojan was removed just to get Exchange up and running and probably find another way of getting rid of the Trojan.

I have a lot of mailboxes on it that I need to backup before re-installing it. Will I be able to attach the mailboxes back to there specific users if I were to do a rebuild. If yes, how would I do it?

Any Ideas greatly appreciated.
