RightFax SMTP Connector

I have a small VB script that is supposed to send an email to this account, but it stopped working recently.
The connector mailbox is "faxgateway@XXX.com"
The exact format of the address string is
"/name=Tim/fax=913XXXXXXX/ <faxgateway@XXX.com>"

Per the RightFax 9.3 documentation at http://www.captaris.com/support/documentation/rightfax/9_3/RF_93_FP1_Administrators_Guide.pdf (page 278) this should work without a hitch.

I'm receiving the following in response to those scripted emails:
"Valid fax destination information could not be found in your mail message.  The message was discarded."

My version information is:
RightFax version 9.3.0.2116
Exchange Server 2003

Hopefully one of the experts has some insight into what is causing this behavior.

Looking further into the documentation, does anyone have pattern matching set up for their Exchange server? E.g. all emails sent to fax=*@XXX.com get routed to faxgateway@XXX.com?
I've spent most of the afternoon looking at ways to do just that, but I haven't found anything.
When I rebuilt the SMTP connector, I didn't turn off the "Use IETF fax Addressing" feature, which is enabled by default. That was the cause of this behavior.
