After using Upromote, the 3rd party NT 4.0 demote tool, &nbsp;and demoting NT server to a workgroup I established a new domain with sbs and joined an xp pro box to it. &nbsp;Now the problem arose that the xp box could not negotiate a connection to a resource that it used to be able to beofre joining it to the new sbs domain. &nbsp;Everytime I tried to map a directory for my dos based program it kept asking for credentials which none provided was accepted. &nbsp;What is the reccomended solution to this? &nbsp;On the share and NTFS security is everyone so it should connect even though NT server is in the workgroup, worgroup, right? &nbsp;What do you suggest?
