        Hi Ryt-way
Not much info on net, if this is an additional DC, demotion and then joining as additional dc again, may solve the problem.

Regards
any details on what and where you got this error?
The error would indicate an attempt by the automated rebuild of AD during reboot or a DCOM error trigger, Ntdsutil will resolve the issue from Active Directory Restore mode, it is not a difficult issue to resolve. if you need more information on how to use Ntdsutil the look at this KB from microsoft.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/816120

Try it, as it has never failed for me, its as simple as eseutil, and the interface is the same, just more efective.
