The error would indicate an attempt by the automated rebuild of AD during reboot or a DCOM error trigger, Ntdsutil will resolve the issue from Active Directory Restore mode, it is not a difficult issue to resolve. if you need more information on how to use Ntdsutil the look at this KB from microsoft.<br />

Try it, as it has never failed for me, its as simple as eseutil, and the interface is the same, just more efective.
