P2P (peer to peer) Instant Messenger
I don't know if this exist, I'd like to know if you know a real P2P (peer to peer) Instant Messenger.
I mean, a software like ICQ, Yahoo, MSN, but that does not require to connect to a server to work, so, that I can use in my local network that does not have access to the internet.
Also, this is useful to work inside corporate with strict firewalls where you can't use any of the very known IM programs.
(BTW, the first page of Google results didn't bring anything worth to see or try)

Forgot to mention, although you've probably worked it out by the mention of "client" and "server" ;-) Jabber isn't P2P, I also had a quick google for P2P chat clients but could find much of interest either.

I installed / configured the on my office network :-
server = wildfire server
Client =pandion Chat client
When you install teh wildfire server on windows server you have to configure the mysql database or integrated database also avilable and it runs on the port 9090 and its easy to install and configure after installation login with admin login and create the users for network users and they can login with username@windows servername.
Its good application so you can save your bandwidth and increase the productivty of work ....:)
