How to map drives with GPO so that vista drives map correctly.

We have a bat file that runs on logon for all users.  We also use the home folder setup under the profile tab in AD to setup a mapped u:\ for user personal folders.

We launched 5 Vista machines in our network and NONE will map those drives now.  They will map some, not all of the bat file drives but will NEVER map the profile home folder drive.

From my research it appears this is a feature not a problem within vista.  I was told I should use GPO's to map drives.  Thats all good and fine but I am lost on how to do so and cant seem to find any information.
