Why does Vista keep saying MS DTC Console has stopped working

I recently upgraded my Fujitsu T4215 laptop to Vista Business. This included checking that I have a compatible BIOS and doing all the fujitsu driver upgrades. Everything works fine except I get an error every time I login to Windows that says "MS DTCconsole has stopped working". It then gives me ways to check for a solution but those don't seem to work. I am not aware of any problem this is causing other than the annoying error message, but I would like to know how to stop the problem.

Sounds like SQL Server is loading at startup and is having problems. What have you got that's using SQL server? If its something that you do not require, then use MSCONFIG32 to stop it loading at startup.

I can't imagine what would use SQL Server. The only items and services listed are Roboform (this is a form and password filler so it is a database but i don't know if it uses SQL server), Googledesktop, Windows Defender, Groove monitor utility, Sound Movie server, o2 flash (I don't know what the last two are). Do any of these use SQL server?
KCTs is right just stop it runs at startup using msconfig
Can you tell me what SQL Server is called in MS CONFIG? There are a few dozen MS services running but none of them says SQL. One is just called Server. Is that it? I want to turn off the right one.
Lee:
I have posted this question twice and never got any resolution to the problem. What am I doing wrong? I really need to figure this out.
The DTC console is actually the app msdtc.exe - so if this is listed in MSConfig, disable it.  Reboot and see if it works - if not, post back.
run msconfig
On the General tab of the System Configuration utility select the Selective startup radio button.
Uncheck Load Sysem Services .
AND uncheck Load Startup items.
click Apply button.
Restart your computer.

If this fixes the problem, recheck the items on the Services and Startup tabs selectively, starting with the most obviously harmless first, reboot each time until you find the culprit.
Purple:

The MSDTC.exe is a app in my windows folder but it is not listed anywhere under MSConfig. What do i do next? I checked startup and services carefully.
If you look in your Application Log, is there an error listed with reference to DTC console?  If so, could you copy the contents of the event and paste them here?
here is all of todays Log. After this I will list details on a couple of the errors:
