We had emails that were sent over the weekend to us from outside agencies. The emails were sent at 5pm and did not get here until 8am the next day. The time sent said 5pm but did not show up in all of our mailboxes at that time. We got other emails from other people though. Any ideas?

There can be any number of reasons for the delay.
An issue with your ISP, and issue with the senders ISP, somewhere in the middle.
You need to look at the headers of the delayed messages to see where the delay occurred. It also depends on whether you receive your email directly or via your ISP and whether the sender is rouging directly or via the ISP.
Hey how about delay in Internal and External mail Delivery when sometimes delay is anywhere between 30 minutes to 5 hours. I have been facing the issue with our Exchange Server for some users not all of them
Thanks in advance
