moving isam data from 4.1 mysql windows to 5.0mysql linux
i have a client running 4.1 mysql on a windows box and i want to move their data to my isp which is running 5.0 on a linux box. Can i just copy the data of do i need to migrate it some how.

the databases are huge, doing a dump/backup and restore/import is not deserible i would really like to just copy the data.
Unfortunately, I've not tried that. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try to simply copy the data to the appropriate folder on the Linux box and then fire up MySQL 5.0? For some reason, I'm kind of doubting that it will work. I could be wrong though.
