Windows Autologon bypass hotkey reassign

APPICAL used Ask the Experts™
Good morning,

The issue that I am experiencing after extensive internet research and polling office colleagues relates to the autologon process for NT operating systems such as 2000 & XP.

To be specific I want to reassign the hotkey [SHIFT] used for the autologon bypass process.  I have been able to locate how to place a string of “IgnoreShiftOverride” within [HKLM\ Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\Winlogon] which disables the SHIFT bypass to the logon screen, but not how to reassign it.

It's shift or nothing, can't be remapped.

Not to be there somewhere that this can be verified against.  I have to report up the chain of command on this issue.
It is not documented becuase it doesn't exists.  It would be like saying you cant make a horn on a chevy play jingle bells, it doesnt exists so they aren't going to put it in the manual.

The only true way to get an offical Microsoft answer is to contact tech support for the XP team and have them tell you it doesn't exists.  This will cost you $ 245.00 bucks to get the official answer.
