Unable to see XP Pro machines in network browser of Vista Home Premium.
I can browse using 192.168.0.xxx/shared_Folder
All XP Pro machines can see each other in network browser.

Is there a "simple" way to see the other PCs on the LAN using the network browser.
I guess I could setup DNS entries on the Vista machine and renumber the XP Pro machines to static internal IPs... just looking for something less brutal.

Hi!

Vista is using new mechanism called LLTD to display computers on network. You have to install it on XP also: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=4F01A31D-EE46-481E-BA11-37F485FA34EA&displaylang=en
