I can put a normal pci card into a 64-bit server pci slot cant I?

I think the processor is the one on 64 bit not the pci slot, does it?

by the 64bit slot i mean the PCI-X slot which runs in 33,66,133 mhz modes...

Technically, you can. No problem at all. A stand PCI is 32 bits can be inserted in 64 bits PCI slot. But remember that, the 3.3V and 5V slots are different, you can not insert 32/64bits bits 3.3V into 5V slots.
