WPA-PSK connecting to MAC iBook G4
I am a Microsoft guy with a HUGE problem...I got a call from a client that needed a laptop hooked up to an HP Procurve 420 AP. I expected it to go like the others I hooked up and whadda ya know...I got out there and it was a MAC!!!
Ibook G4 - I know NOTHING about MACs so I fiddled around looking for a wizard, manual setup, anything to connect this notebbook to the AP and couldn't do it.
THe AP is configured using WAP-PSK and also uses local MAC (as in hardware address) authentication. I have the MAC entered in the approved lit (amazed that I found that). In the network setup "area", I saw references to AirPort and also to WPA-Enterprise and WPA-personal. I tried everything under the sun and this thing refused to connect. Does anyone have a "step by step" guide to configure the notebook for WPA access. I have no idea what the O/S is and no idea about driver version for the wireless card.
