Exchange using HTTP with MAC mail?

How do I configure Mac mail to do the exact thing I have my Outlook configured so I can check email outside the company.  On a PC laptop I merely add the host on C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC and I connect to microsoft exchange usng http on the connection tab on Outlook.  (All cofigured and working)  Is there anything like this I can do with Mac mail??
