Font Location

Can someone please tell me where all the fonts are stored on Windows XP Pro and can they be combined in the file called FONTS in the control panel?

This where they are stored.
C:\WINDOWS\Fonts

When you click on Fonts in the Control Panel you are just directed to the folder above.

Hi,

Fonts are stored in the fonts folder in the windows directory - usually c:\windows\fonts

The control panel fonts control is effectively a link to the same folder.

Hi camtz,

C:\Windows\fonts is the folder you are looking for. New fonts should be added through Control Panel applet called Fonts, click File, Install new fonts...

Start > Control Panel > Fonts is where all the fonts are stored:
