Delphi and USB Tape Drives

Hi,

I need to make a Delphi (Win 32) software that is able to use an USB TAPE Drive (for example HP DAT 72 USB).

I searched for some examples in internet without success, but I've seen that probably I need to use the usbstor.sys driver from micorsoft (or any similar driver from tape vendors).

Anyone can provide to me some examples or source code for this ?

Thank you

The access is probably only through DeviceIoControl calls. The Windows DDK contains ntddtape.h with declarations for that. The tape class GUID is also declared in one of the files.
First you need the DDK from Windows, then you need to convert the file to Pascal (not that hard because it only contains constants and records. From there on it is experimenting.
Forced accept.
