i have exchange 2003.  I use cached exchange mode.  I have granted user1 permission to open user2 mailbox and send as permission.  Is their any way when user1 replies to an email for user2 for a copy of the sent item to be delivered to user2 sent box?  Curently it only goes to sentbox for user1.  second part of question is now that user1 has send as permission how does user1 send a new email on behalf of user2?

Regarding the sent items folder i dont think so.
To send a new email as user 2 in outlook make sure that you can see the From field and select user2 from the GAL.

There is nothing native to do what you need.
The only way I am aware of is a tool from ivasoft.biz.

you need to grant yourself "Send As" permissions on the Accounts mailbox
after that you can select the From option while sending out the emails
to save the emails in the "Sent Items" folder of the Accounts mailbox, check the following

All that article tells you to do is grant the permissions on the folder and then move the items manually.
