alias for e-mail outlook exchange

Guys

We use Exchange server 2000 with clients on either outlook 2003 or 2007.

I need to be able to send e-mails as another alias ie my e-mail would be

darrenjackson@mycompany.com

but would like it to be sent out as

darrenjackson@my_other_company.com

I think this is somesort of alias or something but dont know enough about exchange to sort this out

can anyone help

Cheers

Are both of those domains on your Exchange server?
If so then you have two choices, either another account or a third party tool.

If you use the two accounts method then you have to use Send As and the From field in Outlook.
